Nutritional and health benefit knowledge of milk and dairy products consumption among medical students at Benghazi university

Backgrounds: Milk well- known important source of human nutrition and contain considerable amounts macro micronutrients have enormous health benefit. This study was performed to determine the nutritional knowledge benefit diary dairy products consumption among medical students at Benghazi university. Methodology: a cross section comprised 541 from branches faculties in which 290 female 251 male. Data were collected by using semi-constructed questionnaire. analysis either mean ± SD or frequencies percentages according natural data. Chi-square test used α< 0.05. Results: The result present work revealed that milk consumed one serving day (53%) (P< 0.05), types milks, whole fat significantly 0.05). Our also shown highly serving/day. Furthermore, 65.2 % drink with tea (P=0.000). Nutrition reported good score for questions poor scores related exception question on oral Even though, status reveals they fall under normal weight categories. However there abnormal low levels Hb, vitamin D been found high calcium male students. Conclusion Dairy relatively higher consumptions regarding this suggested education program might be great importance product data needed validated large samples.
